# Personal training is first and foremost a non-medical health care service. As a matter of principle, it’s important to me that you can rely on my diligence, integrity and complete confidentiality.

The rapid decline in physical performance and the progressive disintegration of the body in later stages of life are often more due to modern work and lifestyle than to biological inevitability.

I support my clients regardless of their political orientation, disability, profession, gender identity, origin, religious (non-)affiliation, sexual orientation or other actual or attributed group-specific characteristics.

 

Workouts during Ramadan are just as possible as considering your individual pronouns. Those are “bells and whistles” you don’t need? Simply omit them.

 

The way we deal with one another should, of course, be characterised by mutual respect and a willingness to learn.

What I do not offer:

The diagnosis and treatment of physical and mental illnesses does not fall within the scope of my professional competence—it is reserved for the appropriate medical health professions.

 

For example, if you need treatment or therapy for your diet-related illness, only nutritionists and dieticians are fully qualified (and legally entitled!) to do so, but not fitness trainers, sports scientists, nutritionists, nutritional coaches, your massage therapist or other wellness coaches.

 

I can, however, answer general questions, discuss reports or publications, and present and interpret examples as part of a transfer of knowledge.

 

If you have been diagnosed with one of the following conditions, you are unfortunately ineligible to become one of my fitness training clients for legal reasons (however, information, meditation and most relaxation techniques are, of course, no problem):

– congenital or acquired heart defect 

– disorder of the heart rhythm (cardiac arrhythmia; e.g. atrial fibrillation) that’s induced by exercise 

– untreated high blood pressure (hypertension) with very high values 

– high blood pressure caused by physical exertion that exceeds the normal increase during exercise (stress hypertension. If you are unsure, it is advisable to carry out a stress test [ergometry] before starting any exercise programme; talk to your family doctor about this!) 

– untreated symptomatic overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism) 

– severe chronic or decompensated liver and kidney damage (renal insufficiency) 

– a chronic progressive destructive disease (neoplasm) 

– advanced lung disease 

– pulmonary heart disease (cor pulmonale)

Pricing

The industry average for more or less qualitative personal training is between €60 and €120 (in Germany between 80 and 150 €), with no upper limit. With prices below that, as a potential client, you should ask yourself how much quality a trainer who has to rely on quantity can actually offer you. My pricing is client-centric and therefore aims for quality at a reasonable price.

The price depends on your wishes and the complexity required. I calculate in such a way that the highest quality of my service and my full attention are yours the whole time—without compromises and without cutbacks!

A unit is an actual hour (= 60 minutes). Of course, depending on your needs, we can also agree on shorter or longer units, which will be charged pro rata.

 

Typically, my price per unit is €60–70. It may be higher for exceptionally complex units. The price per gamification/RPG fitness unit is €120.

 

Group training is considerably cheaper for the participants than individual training. 

 

The final offer is always made after the initial exploratory talk, in which we determine exactly what you need. Of course, you are welcome to send me a non-binding inquiry before the exploratory talk!


The exploratory talk typically lasts 60 minutes at a fixed price of

€60 (eastern Carinthia [up to Villach] and online),

€70 (western Carinthia [incl. and beyond Villach),

or is calculated individually for a face-to-face meeting outside of Carinthia. If you would like it to take place in the business lounge of one of the district offices of the Chamber of Commerce, this fee does not apply; an individual pre- and post-processing fee is charged instead—this is capped and does not exceed 60 or 70 Euros or must be calculated individually for a face-to-face meeting outside of Carinthia.

 

As is customary in the industry, all entry, rental, booking and possibly travel expenses outside of Carinthia are to be borne by the client. Excluded from this is the exploratory talk (see above).
